You agree to
pay The Cornish Cakery the price as quoted on your signed Order
Form. All our prices exclude VAT. You will be notified if the
company becomes VAT eligible.
Booking and Deposit
and booking dates are only secured with a £10 deposit for
celebration and novelty cakes, £100 for wedding cakes, which
will become non-refundable during the following time periods:
Wedding Cakes =2 months, Celebration/Novelty Cakes = 2 weeks. This is due to the fact that design and the
production of your cake will have started during these periods.
Once deposits are received and cleared your booking date will
then be fully confirmed.

otherwise agreed by. Failure to make payment of the remanding
balance may result in your order being cancelled and your date
being made available to someone else.
Late or Non-Payments
non-payments could result in loss of your booking date. In the
event of a late or non-payment, the order will not be processed
until alternative funding has been agreed and payment made in
full. In these circumstances, subsequent completion of the order
on the required date may not be guaranteed and become Subject To
Changes to Date, Venue
Cakery will make every effort to accommodate your changes,
without any additional charges, provided sufficient notice is
given and that we are able to provide a cake for the re-arranged
date. However, if we are fully booked on your new date
and cannot provide the cake, it will not be possible to refund
your 50% deposit unless outside of the non-refundable period.
The limiting factor with any cake provision is usually the cake
set-up. As a compromise, it may be possible to provide you with
a cake prior to your wedding date, but under these circumstances
it will become your responsibility to collect, deliver and
set-up the cake at the venue.

Any changes to
design may be subject to additional charges. Changes required
less than 6 weeks prior to delivery cannot be guaranteed
although every effort will be made to accommodate them.
On the day of
collection, your order may be collected at a pre-arranged time,
as agreed on your Order Form. Should you wish to change the
collection details we will do our best to accommodate, but
cannot guarantee availability.
We will deliver
at the time and address agreed with the customer. If we canít
deliver because there is no one to receive to cake(s) or the
address provided is wrong, the cake(s) will be returned to our
premises and held for a period of 24 hours.
Delivery/Setting Up of
your Cake at a Venue
be inspected on receipt to ensure that they were not damaged in
transit, as you (the client) or any third party taking delivery,
(e.g. hotel/wedding planner etc) shall be solely responsible for
any damage to the cake(s) which occurs (i) after the delivery
of your cake(s) and/or (ii) as a result of failure to follow any
instructions/advise given and/or (iii) further transportation of
wedding cakes, it is recommended that you take out insurance to cover any
